McManaman: I never think about coming back to England

Real Madrid midfielder Steve McManaman today said that he rules out coming back to England for play.

McManaman has been linked with Leeds United and Newcastle United this summer, and there was also speculations in the media that he could return to his old club in England, Liverpool.

He said: "I never think about coming back to England. I'm in a team which wins titles and is the envy of the world.

"I have been here for three years and I love the club and the city.

"I have never thought of going back to Liverpool. I have a family and many friends there but I will never come back to play."
