Real Madrid chief Butragueno: Shower of goals just what was needed
By Frank Henriksen
Real Madrid chief Emilio Butragueno was delighted with their thumping victory over Rayo Vallecano.
Butragueno says the 6-2 win will lift everyone's confidence at the club.
He remarked: This shower of goals boosts our morale. It's a very positive result for all of us. I loved Benzema's goal because of the overall effort it finished off, and I also loved Kaka's counterattack that ended in a penalty. He played magnificently well."
"Mourinho was right to bring Ozil on. The move allowed us to take the lead. The match grew complicated with the red card, but the team armed itself and played a good counterattack game."
