Real Madrid Boss Pellegrini Disappointed Following Athletic Bilbao Loss

By Frank Henriksen

Real Madrid lost their third match of the season against Athletic Bilbao, and Manuel Pellegrini expressed his disappointment after the match.

Speaking to Marca following the 1-0 loss, Pellegrini said, "We created enough chances to win."

"There was only one team playing football, but you need luck and precision to convert your chances."

"When you lose, then there is something you did not do well."

Pellegrini then ridiculed suggestions that the loss would have a major impact on the title race, continuing, "There are a lot of games remaining, including all the return matches."

"Now what is important is to beat Malaga at home. With 60 points remaining, this is not a defining result."

"We have the spirit and desire to win the league."
