Real Madrid are set to host Manchester City at home in the second leg of the UEFA Champions League this week. The former side has a goal lead but that won’t be enough to make them comfortable throughout the 90 minutes.
The Whites had to settle for a 1-1 draw against Osasuna in their previous game. Hence, they need to forget about that result and focus on this particular fixture. With the support of the home crowd, they can show the elimination doors to the Citizens.
Defence
Thibaut Courtois will be operating between the sticks once again and will be a key if the Whites want to head into the next round. Federico Valverde should be used as the right-back once again to strengthen the defensive pack.
Raul Asencio has done well and is likely to be retained at the heart of the defence while Antonio Rudiger will return to pair up with him. Fran Garcia could be making way for Ferland Mendy for the left full-back role.
