Goalkeeper Luca Zidane has signed for second division side Rayo Vallecano.

The 22-year-old son of Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane joins on a two year deal having spent last season on loan at Racing Santander.

He played 33 matches during the previous campaign for Santander and has now agreed to stay in the Spanish second division by signing for Vallecano.

Zidane only managed two appearances for Real Madrid's senior side, having joined the club's youth academy in 2004 when he was just six years old.

Luca made his professional debut for Real Madrid in their last league game of the 2017–18 season in a 2-2 draw with Villarreal.

His other appearance for Los Blancos came in a 3-2 victory against Huesca in March 2019.
