Zinedine Zidane has insisted Cristiano Ronaldo will not be leaving Real Madrid, saying the Portuguese star is 'delighted with everything he has' at the club.

The Real manager will be without Ronaldo until mid-September because of suspension but dismissed reports linking him with a move away following frustration at his treatment by the Spanish authorities.

Ronaldo is currently under investigation over his tax affairs - he denies any wrongdoing - and has been vocal in his criticism of the Spanish FA's disciplinary committee after they handed him a five-game ban.

Zidane, speaking ahead of Real's home La Liga match against Valencia on Sunday night, said: "Money issues are none of my business. That's a matter between him and the club. It's not my job."

"Cristiano's here and he is not going to move from here. It's his club, his team and his city."

"He is delighted with everything he has here. I don't have any doubt about that."

The 32-year-old will return to domestic action against Real Betis on September 20 after pushing a referee following his sending off in the first leg of the Spanish Super Cup against Barcelona.

After a failed appeal, Ronaldo posted on Instagram: "It seems to me exaggerated and ridiculous, this is called persecution."

Real haven't missed him so far, beating Barcelona 5-1 on aggregate in the Super Cup and wining their league opener at Deportivo La Coruna 3-0.
