Zidane Willing To Take Real Pay-Cut

Real Madrid playmaker Zinedine Zidane says he would be willing to take a pay-cut if the club deemed it necessary.

The Frenchman is reported to earn at least $6 million a year with the Merengues.

"We have not talked about it, but I would be prepared to except a lower salary if it was thought necessary," he told the club's official site.

"In recent times there's been lots of money in football, but things have changed and the game is now being affected by an economic crisis."
