Zidane wants double

Real Madrid's French superstar Zinedine Zidane has said that he wants nothing less than the a league and Champions league double this season.

Speaking to the French media, the world's most expensive player said: "Real have been champions of Europe several times and now I want to be part of that history, I want my name on the roll of honour. I also want us to win La Liga, I'm dying for it to all get started and I'm dreaming of winning that double."

Zidane is also confident of quickly settling down to Spanish life because of his family connections in Spain: "My wife has family all over Spain, She's very happy with the move but even more happy for me than for herself."

He added: "Joining Real Madrid is just about the best thing that could have happened to me."
