Zidane urges Real Madrid's Owen to snub Newcastle, Arsenal

Zinedine Zidane has urged Real Madrid teammate Michael Owen to forget about a return to the Premiership next season.

Arsenal and Newcastle United are both keen to lure Owen back to England, but Zizou says: "My advice to Michael is that he has to be patient. He knew before he joined that Raul and Ronaldo were main players for this club and that he would have to fight extremely hard for a place, and nothing has changed."

"Michael Owen has many more great years ahead of him and he is playing for the best team in the world, so I would advise him to stay here."
