Zidane arrived in the Spanish capital on Sunday night ahead of completing what is expected to be confirmed as a new world transfer record. The Spaniards are set to part with $US 66m in order to bring the Juventus star to the Bernabeu.
The French international is expected to pen a four-year deal with the Madrilenos and his buy-out fee will be set at an astronomical $US 156.5m.
The talented Frenchman has already been designated his favourite shirt by Santiago Solari, Real's current number 21.
That shirt will be presented to Zidane in a ceremony conducted by Real legend Alfredo di Stefano at the club's Palacio de Hielo.
