Zidane ruled out of French friendly against Dutch

France playmaker Zinedine Zidane has pulled out of their friendly against the Netherlands on Wednesday in Rotterdam with a groin injury, according to team spokesman Philippe Tournon.

No replacement has been named. Zidane played in Real Madrid's 5-1 win over Sevilla on Sunday and scored their third goal.

France have already lost Arsenal duo Robert Pires (Achilles tendon) and Patrick Vieira (knee) through injury although both played against Manchester United in a 1-1 draw on Sunday.
