Zidane open to new signings in January

Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane has admitted that fresh signings could be made at the Bernabeu in the January transfer window.

Real saw off Malaga 3-2 in La Liga on Saturday night to maintain their title challenge, leaving them seven points behind leaders Barcelona, who play Valencia in a first-versus-second clash on Sunday evening.

However, Real’s injury list is significant with Sergio Ramos and Gareth Bale currently sidelined, prompting Zidane to admit he could sign new faces in January, while also admitting that no players would be allowed to leave.

"There are certainly going to be no departures. Everyone is going to stay," he said post-match.

"And arrivals - anything can happen. [But] we are happy with the squad we have. We have a squad with depth and quality."

"At the moment we're not talking about departures or arrivals."
