Zidane on Real Madrid role: I feel like new signing

Zinedine Zidane is delighted to be getting down to work for Real Madrid.

Zizou has joined coach Jose Mourinho's backroom in an official capacity, stepping up from his previous advisory role.

"I'm happy to be closer to the club and this team. It is a position that will be defined gradually. I am very happy to introduce myself," said Zidane.

"It is not like I'm a new signing, but for me it does feel like that."

"I'll try to help the team, acting between the president and staff."
