Zidane feeling the heat

Zinedine Zidane says he is being stretched to breaking point by the commotion caused by his world-record switch to the Bernabeu from Juventus.

Zidane, who moved to Real in a staggering £48million move last month, said: "It can't go on. It's madness on a daily basis."

"I'm hoping once the season starts it'll calm down a little bit, I'm having way too many demands put on me and it's got to stop," said Zidane, currently in France for a friendly international against Denmark.

"There are people all round me. I know it's Real Madrid and that's a passionate football city but there's going to come a moment where I say 'That's enough'," he added in French daily La Parisien.

"I would have liked a little more rest over the last two months, I just haven't been able to find a moment to relax."
