Zidane Could Play On For An Extra Year

Spanish daily Marca have revealed that Zinedine Zidane could play on until 2006.

The Frenchman last week stated that he would retire in two years time at the end of his current deal, but reports today say that the player has a clause in his contract that allows the Merengues to extend his stay by a year.

And with the playmaker still an integral part of the star -studded Real line-up, the board of directors will surely take up this option.
