Zidane convinces Ribery about Real Madrid

Olympique Marseille winger Franck Ribery wants to join Real Madrid.

Zinedine Zidane, who shares the same agent with Ribery, has spoken to the midfielder about life at Real and has convinced him to choose the Spanish giants ahead of rivals Arsenal, Bayern Munich and Juventus, says Marca.

Jeane Pierre Bernes, who represents Ribery along with Alain Migliaccio, said: "Ribery does not want to play for Bayern. He likes Spain, but nothing has arrived from any Spanish teams."

"It is true that people from Real Madrid have come to see his games, but no offer has ever been made to us."
