Zidane confident Benzema will pen new Real Madrid deal

Real Madrid assistant coach Zinedine Zidane is confident Karim Benzema will stay.

Zidane has worked closely with Benzema this season, with the French striker enjoying career best form.

"I think he'll renew. The club is keen to do it and he's fine in Madrid. There will be no problems. I hope," said Zizou.

"I know him. In some ways we are alike. To me what I cared about was playing, giving the maximum on the field, then I was fine ... I just like being at home with my family. Benzema is a bit like that."
