Zidane calls on Real Madrid to land Juventus star

A former World Cup winner with France, the tactician wants Los Blancos to land compatriot Paul Pogba.

Ahead of the summer transfer window, it appears Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane has instructed the club’s hierarchy to do everything they can to land Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba.

Los Blancos and the tactician have both been long term admirers of the France international, dating back to the 22-year-old’s time at Premier League club Manchester United.

An astonishing price tag of €100 million has reportedly not deterred the La Liga club, and according to Marca, they are keen to secure his signature in order to strengthen their bid for success on both the domestic and European scene.

No official offer has been made to the Bianconeri as of yet, but it certainly would be tough for the player and Turin club to turn down Real’s advances given the figures being talked about.

The Madrid giants will have to fight off competition from the likes of Manchester City and Barcelona if they are to acquire his services as he continues to impress in Serie A this season with five goals and five assists.
