Zidane an injury doubt for Real's game against Malaga

Real Madrid midfielder Zinedine Zidane is doubtful for Sunday's Primera Liga match at home against basement side Malaga as he struggles to recover from an ankle injury.

"Zidane is keen to play. He is having treatment but we'll have to wait and see," Real coach Juan Ramon Lopez Caro told a news conference.

The 33-year-old France international trained apart from the rest of the squad on Friday.

If he misses the game he will join Ronaldo, Thomas Gravesen and Jonathan Woodgate on the injury list.

Real are third in the table with five games remaining, two points behind second-placed Valencia, but 13 adrift of Barcelona.
