Zaragoza in Real Madrid talks for Portillo

Real Zaragoza have approached Real Madrid for striker Javier Portillo.
 
Zaragoza have identified Portillo as a readymade replacement for David Villa, who is the subject of interest from Valencia.

"If I go to Zaragoza, I won't let them down," Portillo said yesterday. Malaga and Real Betis are also keen on the prolific young forward.

Valencia are expected to wrap up the signing of Villa in the next 24 hours.
