The results were as follows.
Group A.
Real Madrid took their 4 victory by beating Anderlecht in Belgium. By doing this Real is the first team to qualify for second phase. AS Roma won the other group match against Lokomotiv Moscow 0-1 in Moscow. The second qualifier from this group seems to be AS Roma.
Group B.
Liverpool took 1 place in group B by winning over Dynamo Kyiv 1-2 in Ukraine. Borussia Dortmund won over Boavista in the other group match with 2-1 in Dortmund. The group in now very open with Liverpool on 8p, Boavista on 7p and Dortmund on 5p.
Group C.
Arsenal won an intens match against Panathinaikos with 2-1 and Schalke 04 trashed R.C.D. Mallorca with 0-4 in Spain. This group is also very open with Panathinaikos 9p, Arasenal and RCD Mallorca both on 6p.
Group D.
Galatasaray and Nantes played 0-0 and S.S. Lazio won in Rome with 2-1 against PSV Eindhoven. Also hear is it very close. Galatasaray and nantes have 7p and PSV eindhoven have 6p.
