Both today and yesterday we have been down in long periods. Read here to see why.
Yesterday our server was attacked by Denial Of Service attack on our database server, which our firewall in end decided to close down the traffic, to end the attack and prevent them to do any damage to server.
Unfortunately some script kiddies and hackers thinks its funny to take out servers. Shame on them!
But again this noon we went into problems again. Our server is located in eastern Denmark, which was offer for a very big power outage. Both southern Sweden and the eastern Denmark where without power from about 12:40 PM today, and the power is just starting to get back at this time.
We hope that the power will be stable, though it has seem to be some blinks here and there.
The power failure was due to a error on a Swedish nuclear powerplant, which had a failure in a power generator. We must state that there has been no nuclear leak from the plant, only a fail in a generator.
We try to do our best, to keep the server alive for all you hungry fans. We have an UPS supporting our server, but it's only able to keep the system alive for some time. Sorry for the inconvience that these fails may have done.
