Woodgate to make Real Madrid debut next week

Real Madrid have organised a friendly to assist the comeback from injury of summer signing Jonathan Woodgate.

Woodgate is expected to begin full training with his Real teammates today after arriving in Madrid in August from Newcastle United carrying a thigh injury.

Real coach Mariano Garcia Remon will use the October 12 friendly with Alcorcón to test Woodgate's fitness. Santiago Solari and Borja will also use the game to return from early season knocks.
