Woodgate: I'm framing my first Real Madrid shirt

Real Madrid defender Jonathan Woodgate is delighted with his progress this week.
 
The England international has played two games, first against an MLS XI and then a Madrid U17 team, and came through both tests without any signs of trouble with his knee.

"I have kept the shirt I played in at my home and I am going to frame it," said Woody. "It was an important day in my life, where I returned to play minutes of a game, to feel the atmosphere of a stadium, the faith from the trainer, the affection of the public... I must thank the fans for the applause they dedicated to me when I entered the field."
