West Ham in talks with Real Madrid for Portillo

West Ham United are in talks with Real Madrid for striker Javier Portillo.

The Daily Star Sunday says Hammers boss Alan Pardew is close to sealing a loan agreement for the exciting Spain U21 international.

Portillo is considering his future at Real after seeing his path to the first team blocked following the arrival of Julio Baptista in recent weeks.
