Wenger on Real Madrid: I am committed to Arsenal

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger insists he is committed to Highbury, despite the interest of Real Madrid.

Wenger responded to claims yesterday by the agent Marc Roger that the Frenchman wants to take over in Madrid.

He said: "It is simple. I am committed to Arsenal and will not get involved in any of this speculation."

During the week, Arsenal also released the following statement: "Arsene himself has reiterated his commitment to the club on a number of occasions and we see no reason to pass further comment."
