We've Never Wanted To Sign Henry - Perez

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has denied ever wanting to sign Arsenal striker Thierry Henry.

The Frenchman has been tipped as Perez's next target as he continues his policy of signing a 'galactico' each summer.

However, he told Spanish radio show El Largero: "He is a great player, but if you are asking whether or not he was in our most intimate thoughts, the truth is that he never was."
