War Of Words Breaks Out Between Figo & Van Gaal

Luis Figo and Louis Van Gaal engaged in a war of words following the incidents which took place during the Superclasico between Barcelona and Real Madrid.

"I am surprised Van Gaal spoke about me in the media whereas he failed to do so in the two and a half years we worked together", Luis Figo told the press on Sunday.

"It is all the more surprising since I saved his ass many times in our time together at Barça", Figo hit back. "He really should keep from talking about me to please other people".

After the match, Van Gaal and other Barcelona staff said Figo deserved to have been attacked by Blaugrana fans, whom he "provoked", according to them.
