Villarreal striker Nilmar is being linked with Real Madrid.

The Brazil international is a the Liga's top scorer and his form has caught the eye of Real coach Jose Mourinho, says Marca.

With Mourinho desperate for another striker, a January move for Nilmar has been mooted.

Villarreal are expected, however, to refer Real to Nilmar's €60 million buyout clause.
