Varane Not Interested in Leaving Real Madrid

Talk of Jose Mourinho bringing a world-class centre-back to Old Trafford has been prominent since the Special One took over the managerial hot-seat.

Although Mourinho brought Eric Bailly to Old Trafford, it has been continually suggested that another addition would be most welcome.

One name constantly put forward has been the French international, Raphael Varane, who is currently on the books of Real Madrid and who is a player that Mourinho nurtured during his time in Spain.

However, it would appear that Varane is destined to forever remain on Mourinho`s wish-list.

According to the Daily Star, in association with the European media vehicle Le Figaro, Click Here, the 23-year-old is enjoying life so much at the Bernabeu he`s content to spend the rest of his career with them, with the classy centre-back quoted as having remarked,

"Right now, I would like to stay at Real Madrid until the end of my career."

"Things are going very fast in this industry, but why would I not want to retire at Madrid? There is no reason for me to leave."

"I am feeling very well at Madrid. It is obviously very difficult to predict what the future looks like, but I cannot see myself leaving at the moment."
