Ruud van Nistelrooy is considering his future at Real Madrid.

The Dutch striker is becoming increasingly frustrated with the controversies engulfing Real Madrid off the field and also is fed-up playing in coach Fabio Capello's strict system, says DiarioSport.

Van Nistelrooy is happy in Madrid, but wants to get the most out of the final years of his career and is struggling to enjoy his football - despite his scoring record this season.

A return to England is the former Manchester United striker's No1 option, however he also would consider moving back to PSV Eindhoven.

Despite hitting eight goals in his first ten games for Real, Van Nistelrooy has struggled since the New Year, managing just three strikes in his last 13 appearances.
