Van Bronckhorst: Eto'o wants Real Madrid revenge

Gio van Bronckhorst says Barcelona teammate Samuel Eto'o is determined to score against former club Real Madrid tonight.

Eto'o was picked up as a teenager by Madrid who gave him his first chance in Spain but they loaned him out to Mallorca where he emerged as one of the best young strikers in Europe.

Last summer Madrid president Florentino Perez then agreed to sell the Cameroon international to Barca.

"Eto'o is very motivated to score as he has a special relationship with Madrid and it will be a big match for him," Van Bronckhorst explained.

"I hope we don't see any racist chants and I am not expecting that we will, people should just concentrate on the match which should be a tremendous game."

"But if the racist chants are obvious then to walk off the pitch would be a good gesture," he said.
