Valencia threaten Inter Milan deal for Figo

Valencia are threatening to trump Inter Milan for Real Madrid winger Luis Figo.
 
On Thursday, Inter increased their two-year contract offer from £2.1 million-a-year to £2.3 million-a-year.

But Valencia have entered the frame in the last 24 hours with a superior offer of three years at £2.5 million-a-year. The Spanish club are also willing to pay £1.4 million to Real Madrid to accelerate the deal.

In Inter's favour is Real Madrid's reluctance to sell to a Spanish Liga rival.
