Valencia striker Villa coy over Real Madrid bid

Valencia striker David Villa is keen to stay on the margins of Real Madrid's interest in him.

The Spain international told Radio Marca: "The news of interest from Madrid is positive, but it is something I will leave to the media."

"For me, Valencia has given me a lot and I will continue to give a lot back for a long time. For me it is one of the biggest clubs in the world. If someday they want to sell me or think that I'm no longer performing at the expected level, we will sit down and talk without any problems."

"I read that the first contact was made in Ibiza. But I know nothing about this. If one of my representatives have spoken with Real Madrid, they haven't informed me about it.

"I am comfortable here, but I don't know what will happen next summer."
