Valencia's Carboni: Real Madrid move good for Cassano

Valencia's veteran defender Amedao Carboni is backing Antonio Cassano's proposed move to Real Madrid.
 
Real are locked in negotiations with Roma over the Italy international and countryman Carboni says he'll thrive in the more relaxed approach in Spanish football.

"In Italy, he's always involved in controversies, like that one with Adriano some time ago," said Carboni. "If a player is pecked on the cheek at a disco, it's all over the papers the next day."

"Here, it is fiesta from Sunday evening to Thursday. In the morning we train a couple of hours only, injuries rarely happen. The job is much easier in Spain."
