Valencia plan bid for Real Madrid striker Soldado

Valencia are keen on Osasuna striker Roberto Soldado.

The prolific forward is on-loan at Osasuna this season from Real Madrid and has just over a year remaining on his existing contract.

Soldado is wanted back at Real for preseason training this summer, but he is understood to be delighted with the interest of Valencia.

Real president Ramon Calderon must decide in the coming months whether to hold onto Soldado and hand him a new deal or cash in on him before January.
