Valencia No1 Canizares: Real Madrid in decline

Valencia goalkeeper Santiago Canizares is convinced Real Madrid are now a spent force.

The Spain international declared: "It is not evident now, it was evident already last year, when we saw a Barcelona very superior to the rest, and when we saw a Real Madrid that, logically, it should have been more analysed."

"It is obvious Real Madrid's cycle is now over. They have the people there who can fix the problems, but football is very strange and you can spend huge money and still not get the right balance needed to win."
