Valderrama: James will live up to Real Madrid price-tag

Colombian legend Carlos Valderrama insists James Rodriguez will live up to his price-tag at Real Madrid.

The midfielder moved from AS Monaco for €80 million in the summer.

"The figures are normal," argued Valderrama, "this is what James is worth."

"Now he has the opportunity. He is 23 years old and we all hope that he stays at Real Madrid for a long time because all of Colombia is behind him."
