Valdano threat to Real Madrid stars: Any one can leave

Real Madrid sports chief Jorge Valdano has threatened his players with the exit door after two disappointing results over the last two weeks.

Real surrendered their leadership after Saturday's 0-0 draw at Recreativo Huelva and Valdano rapped: "Any one of our players could find the door opened to leave if they wished it, including Ronaldo."

"The only question to consider would be the economic one."

"At Real Madrid, we only want players who are committed to the shirt. Which is why we would quickly get rid of anyone who wasn't totally with us."
