Valdano sets Malaga performance as Real Madrid benchmark

Real Madrid GM Jorge Valdano was beaming after victory over Malaga.

Valdano says displays such as Saturday night’s win would become commonplace.

He declared: "This was a game of a very high standard, and is one that we will have to keep up. Real Madrid have responded."
