Valdano: Real Madrid won't hesitate to raid Barcelona, Atletico

Real Madrid chief Jorge Valdano has declared they wouldn't think twice about raiding Barcelona or Atletico Madrid for a new signing.

"Why not? If we had options, interest ... The market is very open and no two teams can be so far above eachother not to negotiate," shrugged Valdano.

The Argie was also asked about Real's push for Bayern Munich star Franck Ribery and warned: "Zinedine Zidane is a great promoter of his compatriot, but it remains to be seen whether he can join us this season."
