Valdano Doesn't Want Guti To Leave

Real Madrid sports chief Jorge Valdano says that he does not want Guti to leave the club.

A meeting is scheduled for today between Guti, his agent and Real.

But Valdano said: "Real Madrid does not want the player to leave the club. We did not contemplate his exit."

The signing of David Beckham has thrown fresh doubt over the player's future.
