Valdano addressed Real Madrid players about Lyon setback

Real Madrid GM Jorge Valdano was spotted at Valdebebas yesterday addressing the squad.

After their dismal performance at Lyon, which drew public criticism from Valdano, the Argentine chose to speak with the players yesterday ahead of the morning training session.

A player source told AS: "He wanted to give encouragement on behalf of the club and told us that we suffered a lot to get here and now we cannot throw away all the work of the season."
