Travel Sick Real Madrid Sunk By Santander

Real Madrid proved once again they had major troubles winning away from their Estadio Bernabeu after conceding their first defeat of the season at the hands of Racing Santander.

Ironically Real loanee Pedro Munitis capped an inspired performance by the Sardineros, who had previously taken the lead through Mario Regueiro.

This results leaves Real without an away win in six months now as their last Liga success away from the Bernabeu dates back to late March when they beat Sevilla.

Munitis, who was pressured by his club to sit this match out, proved there was no better place than home for the minute forward, who made a name for himself in Santander.

Ronaldo also played the match but never got any serious chance despite starting the match.
