Tottenham locked in negotiations with Real Madrid regarding Bale

Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy was locked in contract talks with Real Madrid on Wednesday night over the transfer of Gareth Bale.

Spurs want upwards of £90million for the Welsh ace but Real want to pay less as Levy continues his hard stance on the transfer fee.

The Daily Mail suggests that Madrid are keen to use left-back Fabio Coentrao to sweeten the deal but Levy does not believe the Portuguese should come to White Hart Lane as part of the Bale deal.
