Tottenham in advanced talks for Real Madrid fullback Coentrao

Tottenham are closing in on Real Madrid fullback Fabio Coentrao.

The Daily Star says he will join Tottenham in the next seven days, according to sources in Spain.

Spurs have swooped for the full-back and he is set for White Hart Lane.

Gareth Bale is likely to move in the opposite direction but the transfer of Coentrao is entirely separate to the deal for the Welshman.
