Tottenham back in for Real Madrid's Morientes

Tottenham boss Glenn Hoddle will try again for Real Madrid centre-forward Fernando Morientes in January.

Real are willing to listen to offers for the Spanish international, who has hardly figured for the first team this season.

Spurs almost landed Morientes in August, but couldn't agree a transfer fee with Real.

The European champs are ready to listen to offers for the striker, who is also attracting serious interest from AS Roma.
