Tote slams Real Betis coach Ferrer

Real Betis striker Tote has slammed coach Lorenz Serra Ferrer.

Having already declared he will quit Betis in January, the former Real Madrid centre-forward blasted Ferrer for making him an outcast this season.

"There is a problem with the coach. I was never going to change his mind, no matter what I did," said Tote. "I'm not looking to retire."

"I want to play. I know I'm not Maradona, but no player can accept not playing one minute in a season."

"If I was 30 or 31 then I could maybe understand it. But I'm 26 and believe I have not been given a chance to show what I can do."
