Tote Planning For Life Away From Madrid

Tote has confessed that he will definitely be looking for a new club at the end of the season and hopes that Real Madrid do not try and make him fulfill his contract.

The out-of-favour striker has been forced to sit and wait after the club blocked a move to Real Betis in the January transfer window.

After making four appearances in the Copa del Rey and one in the Champions League, where he scored, Tote has received the message loud and clear.

With talk of Vicente Del Bosque about to sign an extension to his contract, there appears little hope that Tote will earn a first team place ahead of Raul, Ronaldo or Javier Portillo.

"The talk of the trainer staying on does not affect me at all because I will not be at the club next season," Tote explained.

"I know that for sure and so does the club. The only thing I can do now is sit and wait and wish my teammates the best of luck and hope that they win a few trophies."

"Nobody at Real Madrid has deceived me, nor have they given me any hope that the situation will change."

"I am 24 and have many years left in football and after listening to offeres last summer and in January I know that there are clubs out there that want to sign me."

"Real Madrid do have the possibility to make me stay another 12 months until the end of my contract, but I trust that if they do not want to play me then they will let me leave."
