Toshack urges Chelsea, Man Utd target Raul to quit Real Madrid

Former Real Madrid trainer John Toshack has suggested Raul should leave the Spanish giants for the betterment of his career.

Raul was the subject of a mega offer from Chelsea last summer and has also stated he'd like to play for Manchester Unietd before the end of his career.

Toshack told Marca, "It's obvious that Raul is a shadow of his former self. He has seen good friends leave and perhaps he is thinking that a new adventure could do him some good."

"Perhaps these things have affected his form? It would be a good bet for him to try a new adventure and play in another country."
